A very interesting Oak Barrel which has been painted blue many decades ago and now with years of wear, it offers a beautiful and unusual patina. A handmade, beautifully made hinged top has been added what looks like about 50 years ago.

This barrel would have originally been used to store whiskey or tobacco on a ship.

This barrel would make a very attractive side table, a fireplace log store, storage container or as a feature piece.
